President of Green Investment Group, Inc. presents to Spring Conference of American Bar Association, Section of Environment, Energy and Resources

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Friday, March 21, 2014

Raymond S. Stillwell, President of Green Investment Group, Inc, was invited to participate as a member of a panel entitled, "Brown to Bright: Tapping Contaminated Sites for Energy." The presentation was part of the program at the 43rd Spring Conference of the American Bar Association, Seciton of Environment, Energy and Resources Law held in Salt Lake Ciy, Utah March 20-22, 2014. Mr. Stillwell has been an attorney for over forty-one years. He submitted a paper entitled "CPR For Properties In Sheol", which can be read at the following link. The paper reviews actual case studies of redevelopment activities at brownfield sites owned by Green Investment Group. Inc. or its affiliated entities.

Mr. Stillwell reviewed the challenges of acutually acquiring brownfield properties, conducting environmental investigation and remediation, and repurposing the assets for long-term, sustainable redevelopment. These properties include a bankrupt, closed steel mill in the Midwest to seven closed paper/pulp mill sites in the United States and Canada.
